Quote of the Day

From Bobby Frasor:

“The expectations, you know they’re coming…We’re loaded on paper, and on paper, it looks like this team is going to win a national championship. … But you don’t win games on paper.”

Let it be said that is straight from the George Lynch Guide to Senior Leadership And Winning a National Title.  Check out the full article in the N&O discussing Frasor’s rehab.

Also, it is interesting to note that NCSU’s Farnold Degand, who injured his knee four days before Frasor injured his, is apparently not cleared for action yet and won’t be until October.  My guess is his injury was more severe and his rehab has been slower.

Yeah haven’t seen any pictures of Degand jumping off any balconies.

Does anyone remember the post, I believe from back in late-April, from someone at “Inside Carolina” who said that he had assurance that all three (at the time being Hansbrough, Lawson, and Ellington)would be back?

Is there any credence to that post now? Could it be that all three had their minds set on coming back but the Danny Green scenerio caused both Ellington and Lawson to stay in longer that necessary (as if to say, “well, if HE is going to do this thing, then we had better do it as well)?

I just love this kid. In his own way, he defines Carolina basketball as well as Hansbrough. If the NCAA doesn’t allow him an extra year, it’s full of baloney.

In 15 to 20 years, I look forward to Bobby Frasor being our coach.

Yeah I hope we at least see him on our staff as an assistant
