The U.S. knocks off Canada. The Wear Twins and Leslie McDonald were fairly non-existent. T. Wear only had one point and five rebounds in 13 minutes. He also ended up with five fouls which might explain his limited actions. D. Wear had six points and four rebounds. McDonald has two points.
Next up for the U.S. is Argentina in what will be a complete road game for the United States since it is being played in Formosa, Argentina. Winner takes gold.

THF, I was prepared to give you crap for not mentioning Plumlee’s line, but I checked and he only got 6 minutes of action.
Everyone knows that if you hold Typhoon Nurse to 5 points, you’re going to beat Canada easily.
Maybe Ol’ Roy ought to start recruiting in Argentina…
