ACC/SEC Blog has a UNC preview up that includes one of the most accurate assessments I think I have seen of the Heels’ chances this season in football:

7-5, 4-4
That record is about where I have UNC and yes it would appear that the Tar Heels could win every game on their schedule. Doesn’t mean they will and I do not expect them to given the youth on this team but it is nice to be in position to do so. It is much more encouraging looking at a predicted 7-5 mark and think that could be more if as many things that went wrong at the end of games last season go right in this one.

I wish I thought of that…………Hey, some say the schedule is weak, but if we’re actually thinking we have a good chance in EVERY game, what more can you ask for?
Wins & losses are not the point for me. I just like the idea of opposing teams knowing we are a THREAT to beat them, which is something they are not used to, really, since the Brown era.
