After all the skits and general frivolity there was a 20 minute scrimmage with the White team beating the Blue team 48-45. Danny Green had 23 points for the Blue team who quite frankly was the underdog since the White team had Hansbrough, Ellington and Lawson. Tyler Zeller had 12 points and 12 boards playing beside Hansbrough who ended up with 22 points. Granted it is only a scrimmage for entertainment purposes only but still fun to consider the possibilities if Zeller plays like that when the games count.

Deon Thompson had a couple of nice baskets, and Wayne Ellington had a couple of steals and transition baskets. Everyone seemed to hustle and be very active on defense. I recognized some of the recruits in the house but not all of them. I recall Brandon Wright committing right after Late Night two years ago. It’ll be interesting if there are any similar announcements this year, despite the fact that the Heels already have fewer scholarships to offer based on some early commitments.
I watched this on my computer. What struck me was that Tyler looked about 20 lbs bulkier than last year, sort of like Carlos Boozer (all muscle). Can you imagine him being better than last year? That is not right.
