The biggest positive from last night was Ty Lawson’s offense. This was a night when he was being overshadowed again by an opposing guard but Lawson actually kept his head in the game and ended up outplaying Douglas.

Look at Lawson’s line:
Lawson, Ty………. 6-7 1-2 8-9 4 5 9 3 21 4 2 0 0 37

He only missed one from the floor, made 8-9 free throws, had a 2.0 A/TO ratio and grabbed 9! rebounds! Aside from the outstanding final basket, he also got a brilliant charge called on Douglas and grabbed a rebound and made an important length of the court running lay-up to tie the score at 69 when Carolina looked to be in big trouble.
