Last week, the 850 the Buzz Blog was killed as a part of the local sports radio shakeup here in Raleigh. Some of us associated with Thee Blog thought it a shame to see a community of fans die. So we decided to do one of those really grassroots sort of thingies to speak the truth to power. A few of the regular commenters over there and I have setup a new blog to pick up where Thee Blog left off focusing on the local rivalries and the ACC in general.
We call it Thee Sports Blog.
So head on over there and check it out, sign up for comments and join in on the fun.

Hooray for the new blog. I like to think of THF as our house so having a place to taunt and make solid points regarding our program in the midst of others is a good thing. Yes state fans I’m talking about you.
Sadly the reality of two sports radio stations has been worse than I thought. I’ve been really disappointed on multiple occasions already and it’s only been a few days so far.
The local show on The Fan in the afternoon is horrible. Those guys are all over the freaking map and default to the most asinine argument on every topic or so it seems. I mean they seriously said Solomon Alabi at FSU had a legit shot to win the Naismith Award.
