I love the fact that Marcus is speaking up. Usually Carolina players toe the party line and say stuff to the effect “The rivalry is between the fans, we get along ok with them, they’re a great team, blahblahblah”. I’m glad he’s calling them out for what they are. Love our players running smack on “The Kings of Flop”.

Wednesday February 11, 2009, UNC beats Duke 101-87 in Durham. Singler was on the floor with Hansbrough, and Singler was given a technical foul in the second half as Duke saw the game slipping away. That is the essence of dirty play. It was intentional regardless of the body part used.

This year there are a few more big players on the UNC team. I doubt these games will be any fun for Singler. Home or away. I hope he pays. A lot.

Amen. A lot of times, scores aren’t even kept in scrimmages, and for the most part, coaches use them mostly to experiment with rotations. Given how many more new parts that UNC has than Vandy, this is not surprising.

Complete non-issue.

Losing a scrimmage to Vandy might not be a bad thing; it sure beats losing to an EA Sports team by 50 points……
If it’s true, I wouldn’t be too worried about it. It’s a scrimmage, for crying out loud. Now if UNC were to lay eggs against Belmont Abbey and FIU, then I would be worried.

If I recall correctly, Singler didn’t punch TH; he elbowed him right in the face. And yes, it was nice that, for once, the refs caught him at it.

First off, it’s still football season. Second and third, it was just a rumor and just a scrimmage. Lastly, I don’t know about y’all but for me, Carolina being reigning national champs will go a long way this season. Kind of like 2006, when not much was expected, but much produced. This season, they’re playing with house money, imo.
