Roy Williams slipped on the golf course in October giving him a torn labrum. Yeah, that’s right. Roy has been coaching the Heels and stealing top recruits from Mike Krzyzewski essentially with one arm tied behind his back.
The surgery was deemed a success and Roy will be in a sling for four weeks then rehab afterward. Roy will be on the bench for UNC’s game against Nevada on Sunday.

First it was his, back, then his bouts with vertigo, now the shoulder?
Roy better watch out or Goodman may have to make up an unnamed source that is claiming that Roy is not tough enough…
The Shoulder will be rebuilt stronger, faster, better then before… such that the slapping of Coach K can be taken to a whole new level.
That being said, best wishes to Coach Williams. I hope he has a speedy and successful recovery.
