What is Tar Heel Fan?

Tar Heel Fan is an independent blog focused primarily on the University of North Carolina football and basketball teams.

The Contributors

Tar Heel Fan: Founder of the blog and primary writer for most of the first four years. THF is a life long UNC fan who’s favorite memories are watching UNC basketball games with his late father.  THF is the blog administrator for editorial and technical issues.

Doc: A long time reader and contributor to the comments section, Doc now offers in-depth opinions on all things Tar Heel on the main page showing a wide range of knowledge of Tar Heel basketball and football. Doc is a graduate of UNC and also contributes at Thee Sports Blog.

C.Michael: Like Doc, C.Michael has been around for much of THF’s existence bringing intelligent takes to the comments section.  C.Michael penchant for numbers and stats snagged him a role as THF resident statistical analyst.  In 2009, C.Michael served as THF’s eyes and ears on the ground at the ACC Tournament.
